GDOT Awards Smart Corridor Deployment Program to 360ns

Together in partnership with Georgia Department of
Transportation
 and Gwinnett Department of
Transportation
, the 360ns Team was selected to deliver this exciting
program to help advance Georgia’s Connected Vehicle applications and leadership
in the industry. The 360ns Team includes close partnerships with ARCADIS,
Brandmotion, HAAS Alert, Integrity Security Services, Kapsch, Metro Trafix,
Q-FREE, and ReachRF
to deliver a highly configurable, turnkey,
and best-of-breed connected vehicle, smart corridor program for Gwinnett
County, GDOT, and their stakeholders.

This unique project includes a special focus on advancing Connected Vehicle
Applications and outfitting Gwinnett County Fire, Transit, Emergency, and
Maintenance vehicles with C-V2X On-Board Units to enable in-vehicle SPat/MAP
messaging, Emergency Vehicle Preemption (EVP), Transit Signal Priority (TSP),
Construction and Maintenance Vehicle Alerts (CMVA), Rail Intersection Blocked
Alerts (RIB), and Pedestrian Presence Alerts (PPA).

Additionally, the 360ns Team will deliver a statewide Security Credential
Management System which is compliant with IEEE 1609.2 and CAMP standards for CV
message and protocol security. The SCMS incorporates FIPS 140-2 L3 HSMs to
perform all cryptographic operations so that cryptographic keys are protected
against potential compromise by an adversary.

360ns provides innovative Connected Vehicle leadership built on national
standards, to advance CV applications for public benefit, improved mobility,
and safety for all citizens, drivers, transit, first responders, maintenance
vehicles,  and non-motorized users.
